THE PERSON BEHIND THE COACHING
Meet Michael.
Strength and confidence for the life you want.
Michael Dilworth helps adults build strength and confidence to keep living the life they want. Many clients arrive uncertain about exercise, intimidated by the gym, or discouraged by pain and physical limitations. After two spinal fusions and other orthopedic surgeries, he knows the frustration of setbacks and the importance of feeling heard.
His coaching is methodical and individualized. Early sessions include practical movement and exercise, with close attention to how each person moves, responds, and feels. He adjusts exercises, repetitions, and resistance to establish an appropriate starting point, manage fatigue, and ease clients into training.
He combines strength training, corrective and adaptive exercise, nutrition coaching, and habit support, and works within medical clearance when clients are recovering from surgery or working with a rehabilitation professional.
He offers in-person and online coaching, including support through his My Last Fusion program for people who’ve had spinal fusions and want to maintain their strength and health.
One recent client arrived afraid to move, and over their early sessions, he saw growing confidence and greater initiative between appointments. Seeing someone begin to trust their abilities again is a meaningful part of why he coaches.
