Build Strength for the Life You Want
Strong for Life
Move better, feel steadier, and stay confident doing the things you enjoy.
Strong for Life is a welcoming six-week fitness program created exclusively for Regency residents. It combines practical strength training, balance work, mobility exercises, and supportive coaching to help you feel more capable in everyday life.
You do not need to be an experienced exerciser—or already feel “in shape”—to participate. Every class includes options and modifications so you can work at an appropriate level while gradually building strength and confidence.

Confidence That Carries Into Daily Life
Fitness for Everyday Life
Exercise should make your life easier—not leave you feeling intimidated, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to do.
Strong for Life focuses on the physical abilities that matter outside the gym. The exercises are designed to help you become stronger, steadier, and more comfortable during the movements you perform every day.
The goal is not to compete with anyone else. It is to improve from your own starting point.
Over the six-week program, we will work on:
• Full-body strength for daily activities
• Balance, stability, and coordination
• Mobility and comfortable movement
• Posture and body awareness
• Core and hip strength
• Confidence using your body
• Safe exercise technique
• Endurance for staying active longer
These improvements can make it easier to rise from a chair, use stairs, carry groceries, reach overhead, walk on uneven surfaces, travel, participate in hobbies, and keep up with the people and activities that matter to you.
Benefits You May Not Expect
The benefits of becoming stronger go beyond lifting heavier weights.
As your strength, balance, and movement improve, you may also notice that you feel less hesitant during everyday activities. Movements that once required extra thought or effort may begin to feel more natural. Consistent, well-designed exercise can also help you:
• Feel more secure on your feet
• React more confidently when you lose your balance
• Reduce the fear of trying unfamiliar movements
• Better understand what your body can safely do
• Maintain the physical freedom to live independently
• Feel more energetic and engaged throughout the day
• Build a consistent exercise routine
• Enjoy the encouragement and connection of exercising with your neighbors
The purpose of Strong for Life is to develop abilities that continue serving you long after the six weeks are over.
What to Expect in Class
Each 60-minute class will include a combination of strength, balance, mobility, core training, and practical movement exercises.
We may use body weight, resistance bands, light dumbbells, steps, suspension straps, and other available equipment. Exercises will be introduced clearly, and you will receive coaching on proper form, breathing, and safe modifications.
Every movement can be adjusted when needed. You may use lighter resistance, reduce the range of motion, slow the pace, or choose a supported variation.
You are encouraged to challenge yourself, but you will never be expected to keep up with someone else or work through pain.
This is structured coaching in a calm, supportive, and judgment-free environment.

Supportive, Personalized Coaching
Meet Your Coach
I’m Michael Dilworth, a fitness and nutrition coach specializing in personal training and corrective exercise.
My approach is centered on helping people build useful strength, improve the way they move, and feel more confident in their bodies. I understand that previous injuries, joint discomfort, stiffness, balance concerns, or time away from exercise can make starting a program feel uncertain.
That is why I coach the person—not just the exercise.
I will provide clear instruction, appropriate options, and individual feedback throughout each class. You will know what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how to adjust it for your needs.
My goal is to help you exercise successfully and leave each class feeling accomplished.
